Products

What sizes of container do you sell?

The catalog covers 8, 9, 10, 12, 20, 24, 30 and 40 foot units, although availability in the less common sizes changes with stock. The 20 FT and 40 FT ranges are the largest and most consistently available. Every size in stock appears in the size guide with a live product count.

What is the difference between a shipping container and a storage container?

They are the same product used differently. A shipping container is built to ISO standards for cargo movement; a storage container is that same box used statically on a site. Units sold for storage only may not carry a valid CSC plate for export, which is stated on the product page.

What is a high cube container?

A container that is roughly one foot taller than a standard unit: around nine feet six inches externally instead of eight feet six. The extra height matters for racking, tall equipment and any interior fit-out. See high cube containers.

What is a one trip container?

A container that has been built at the factory and used for a single cargo voyage. It is the closest thing to new that is normally available, and it is what most sellers mean by a new container. See new and one trip containers.

What is a tunnel or double door container?

A unit with full cargo doors at both ends, which allows access from either end and makes it easy to divide the interior into two lockable sections. See double door containers.

Do you sell refrigerated containers?

Yes, in 10, 20 and 40 foot formats including high cube and dual-temperature units. They require an appropriate power supply, usually three-phase. See refrigerated containers.

What is a bunded container?

A container with a sealed raised bund and often a galvanised mesh floor, so that liquid escaping from a drum is contained inside the unit. Used for chemicals, oils and fuels. See bunded storage containers.

Can I buy a container office?

Yes. The catalog carries converted office units and combination units that pair an office area with secure storage. Specification varies by unit, so read the product description carefully. See office containers.

Do you sell container accessories?

A small accessories range is listed in the catalog and the page is structured to hold more as stock is added. See parts and accessories.

How do I know which container is right for me?

The container finder asks five short questions about use, space, placement, configuration and budget, then shortlists from the live catalog. The buyer guide covers the same ground in more depth.

Ordering

How do I place an order?

Add the container to your cart and complete checkout. There is no quote process and no negotiation stage: the price you see is the price you pay, and it includes flat $450 delivery.

Do I need an account to order?

An account is not required to complete a purchase. Creating one makes it easier to review past orders. If you want an account, create it yourself through the account page rather than asking us to set one up for you.

Can I order more than one container?

Yes. Add each unit to the cart in the quantity you need. If you are ordering several containers to one site, contact us first so delivery can be coordinated sensibly.

Can I change my order after placing it?

Contact support as soon as possible with your order number. Changes before dispatch are usually straightforward. After dispatch, changes may not be possible.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes. Cancellation before dispatch is straightforward and fully refunded. After dispatch, cancellation is treated as a return. See returns and refunds.

Can I get a quote instead of ordering online?

Catalog pricing is published, so a quote is rarely necessary. If you need a formal quotation document for procurement, or you are buying several units, contact us through the contact page.

Will I get an order confirmation?

Yes, by email to the address on the order, immediately after checkout completes. It records your order number, the product, the total and the delivery method.

What if the product I want is not in stock?

The catalog reflects current availability. If a unit you need is not listed, contact us and describe what you are looking for.

Shipping & Delivery

How much is delivery?

Delivery is a flat $450 on every order.

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery has an estimated window of 5 business days after dispatch. Orders are generally processed within one business day before dispatch.

Do you deliver nationwide?

Nationwide delivery is our development policy. Remote locations and restricted-access sites may require special arrangements. See shipping and delivery.

How much space do I need for the delivery vehicle?

As a general rule, around 100 feet of straight clear space for a 20 FT tilt-bed delivery and more for a 40 FT unit, plus approach and turning room. Overhead clearance matters as much as ground space.

Will the driver place it exactly where I want?

Within the limits of what the vehicle can reach. Mark the position clearly and be on site to direct placement, because moving a container afterwards means arranging equipment again.

Do I need to be there for delivery?

Yes, or someone authorised on your behalf. You need to direct placement and inspect the unit before the driver leaves.

What if delivery is delayed?

Weather, carrier availability and site conditions can move an estimated date. Where a delay affects your order we contact you with a revised expectation.

Delivery & Site Preparation

What ground do I need?

Firm and level. Concrete, tarmac or compacted hardcore is ideal. On softer ground use concrete pads, railway sleepers or steel plates under the four corner castings.

Why does level ground matter so much?

A container is a rigid steel structure. Set it down on uneven ground and the frame twists slightly. The first symptom is doors that no longer close cleanly, and it is difficult to correct once the unit is loaded.

Do I need a concrete base?

Not usually. Four solid bearing points under the corner castings are enough for most installations. A full slab is only necessary for permanent installations or very soft ground.

What about drainage?

Do not place a container in a hollow where water collects. Standing water under the unit accelerates corrosion of the base rails and floor, which is where containers usually fail first.

How much clearance do I need around the container?

Enough to open the doors fully, and ideally enough to walk around the unit for inspection and painting. Leaving a container hard against a wall makes maintenance very difficult.

Can a container be delivered to a residential address?

Usually, provided a large vehicle can reach the placement point. Narrow streets, parked cars, low cables and soft lawns are the common obstacles. Check before ordering.

Returns & Cancellations

What is your return window?

Our development returns policy is based on 14 days from delivery. Return requests must be raised within that period. See returns and refunds.

Who pays for return transport?

We arrange and pay for collection where the return is due to our error, damaged delivery or an incorrect product. Change-of-mind returns are chargeable.

Can I return a modified container?

No. Cutting, welding, drilling, painting, lining or fitting doors, windows or electrics ends the right of return.

How long do refunds take?

Refund processing normally begins within a small number of business days of the returned unit being inspected. How quickly funds appear depends on your payment provider.

Help topic

Warranty

How long is the warranty?

It depends on the product and, where applicable, the manufacturer. We do not publish a single blanket period because it would be inaccurate across new, one trip, used and refurbished stock. See the Warranty Center.

What is normally covered?

Where cover applies, it generally addresses defects in materials and workmanship affecting structure, frame, welds, doors, hardware, flooring and, where fitted, electrical and specialty components.

What is normally excluded?

Wear items such as seals and paint, misuse, overloading, unauthorised modification, accident damage, improper installation on unsuitable ground, neglect and consequential loss.

How do I make a claim?

Contact support with your order number, delivery date, product identification, clear photographs and a description of the issue. The full nine-step process is in the Warranty Center.

Help topic

Product Condition

What condition classes do you sell?

New and one trip, used, and refurbished. The class for each unit is shown on the product page and in the catalog filters.

Will a used container have rust?

Almost certainly some surface rust, and that is normal. Cor-Ten weathering steel forms a stable oxide layer that slows further corrosion. What matters is whether the steel is perforated or the base rails are compromised, not whether the paint is perfect.

What does wind and watertight mean?

That the container keeps weather out: no water ingress through the roof, walls or door seals, and no daylight visible from inside. It is the single most important test on any used container.

Will the container be clean inside?

Interiors are cleared of debris as part of shipment preparation. Used units may show floor staining and wear from previous cargo, which is normal for the grade.

Can I see photographs of the actual unit?

Product photography shows the product type and, in some cases, the specific units on offer. If you need photographs of a specific container before ordering, contact us and ask.

Help topic

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

The payment methods available at checkout are those configured on this store. They are displayed during the checkout process before you commit to the order.

Is checkout secure?

Payment is handled by the payment provider configured on the store. We do not ask for card details by email or telephone, and you should never send them that way.

Are taxes included in the price?

Any applicable taxes are calculated at checkout based on your delivery details and shown before you confirm the order.

Maintenance & Ownership

How much maintenance does a container need?

Very little, but not none. Roughly an hour twice a year: clear the roof, check the seals, grease the hinges and locking gear, and treat any surface rust before it develops. See the Maintenance Center.

How do I stop condensation inside?

Ventilate. Air needs to move through the container, ideally with vents high and low on opposite sides. Keep stock off the floor, avoid storing damp items, and do not seal the unit completely.

Can I paint my container?

Yes. Wire brush or grind back any surface rust, prime bare steel and apply a marine-grade or direct-to-metal finish. It is the single most effective thing you can do for long-term corrosion resistance.

How do I keep the doors working properly?

Keep the unit level, grease the hinges and cams, keep the seals clean, and operate the doors regularly. A container left closed for two years with dry hinges is where door problems come from.

How long will a container last?

Kept level, painted and drained, decades as static storage. The limiting factors are corrosion at the base rails and floor, and seal deterioration, both of which routine maintenance addresses.

Is a container secure?

The steel and locking hardware are substantial. Security comes from placement, a lockbox and a closed-shackle padlock. Position the doors against a wall or another container where possible.
