Specialty Containers
Containers built or converted for a specific job: refrigerated, insulated, open side, open top, double door, roller door, bunded, office, multi-compartment and offshore-rated units.
When a standard container is not the answer
Most storage problems are solved by a standard dry container. The rest are solved by changing one thing about it: how it opens, how it holds temperature, what it can contain safely, or how it is built. That is what the specialty range covers.

Multi-compartment, offshore and one-off units
A small number of products do not fit the ranges above. They are listed here and in the full catalog.
Multi-compartment containers
Factory-built units divided into several individually locked compartments, each with its own heavy-duty door. Designed for self-storage yards and for sites where multiple trades need separate secure space.
Offshore (DNV) containers
Built to a heavier standard than a dry ISO box, with stronger steel, reinforced corner castings and full traceability. Specified for offshore and heavy industrial lifting operations.
Purpose-built conversions
Occasional one-off units, including converted swimming pool containers and other bespoke builds. Availability is limited to whatever is in stock at the time.

Questions
Specialty container FAQs
Are specialty containers more expensive?
Generally yes. Extra doors, insulation, refrigeration machinery and reinforced construction all add cost. The question worth asking is whether the feature saves you time or risk every week, because that is usually where the return sits.
Can a standard container be converted later?
Many modifications are possible after purchase, including doors, windows, insulation, lining and electrics. Converting later is normally more expensive than buying a unit already built that way, and unauthorised modifications can affect warranty cover.
Do specialty units take longer to deliver?
Delivery estimates are the same as for standard stock: flat $450 delivery in an estimated 5 business days. Units painted or built to order may have a longer preparation period, which is noted on the product page.
Which specialty option should I choose?
Start from the problem. If access is the issue, look at open side, double door or roller door. If temperature is the issue, look at refrigerated or insulated. If containment is the issue, look at bunded. The container finder walks through this in five questions.
